AI Statement

Georgina Consulting Group Inc. is committed to developing, procuring, and using Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly to create value for clients and society while protecting people, data, and the environment.

Our approach prioritizes human involvement at the core of any AI process that may have adverse consequences. We have established a governance framework to ensure that any AI system that we develop, use, or procure, aligns with our Responsible AI principles and policies. Additionally, we are dedicated to upholding ethical standards by ensuring that our AI systems operate in a manner that respects human rights, promotes fairness and avoids bias. We foster a culture of accountability and integrity.

This external statement explains the principles that guide us when using AI and what external stakeholders can expect from us when AI is part of a service or solution. It complements our Code of Conduct, Business Partner Code of Conduct and Privacy Notice. 

 Our responsible AI principles are aligned with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) AI Principles. These principles guide our commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices, ensuring that our systems are designed and operated with integrity, fairness, and transparency.

• Sustainability: AI should contribute positively to people and the planet.
• Accountability: We are responsible for how we use and develop AI systems.
• Fairness & privacy: We comply with applicable laws, respect human rights and privacy, and mitigate bias. 
• Human oversight: Humans supervise AI where it may adversely impact people, clients, society, or the environment.
• Transparency & explainability: We provide meaningful information about the uses and limitations of AI systems to allow users to make informed decisions.
• Robustness, security & safety: AI systems should be robust, secure, and safe throughout their entire lifecycle in accordance with WSP’s information security program. Incidents affecting AI systems are handled in accordance with our incident procedure. Where personal information is involved, our privacy breach procedure applies.
• Prohibited practices: WSP does not knowingly deploy AI in ways that violate laws, cause unlawful discrimination, or materially mislead stakeholders. We avoid unsupervised high‑risk automation and prohibit AI use that conflicts with our Code of Conduct.
